NOTE: You should listen to this recording through stereo headphones in order to perceive the slight pulsing effect that results from the brain's simultaneous processing of the slightly different frequencies presented to each ear. This brainwave demo was created by sending the output of Phi-Music to Cakewalk Pro Audio 9 via Hubi's Loopback Device. The sound module is a Kurzweil K2500RS Sampler. The audio output of the Kurzweil was recorded back to two audio tracks of Cakewalk. You will hear five different brainwave frequencies presented individually, then all of them together. The brainwaves, in the order you will first hear them, are: Delta (2 Hz), Theta (6 Hz), Alpha (10 Hz), Beta (20 Hz), and Gamma ( 30 Hz). Phi-Music is generally capable of simultaneously generating up to eight separate brainwaves (per sound module), each composed of the two consitutuent frequencies required to produce each of the resulting "difference" (brainwave) frequencies. Very complex brainwave sequences can be created by using Phi-Music in conjunction with a sequencer, such as Cakewalk Pro Audio, and/or a multitrack recorder. Brainwaves can be built upon any of Phi-Music's infinitely variable tuning systems.
